What's New for 2024 in the Ford Bronco?
The 2024 model year brings a few changes for the Ford Bronco. Fans of this Ford SUV will notice that it has dropped the base level trim for this year. Also, the 12-inch touchscreen is now standard for all Bronco trim levels. Car shoppers who choose the Badlands trim level will now get a heavy-duty bumper as part of the package.
Performance
Ford has set up the new Bronco to be Elgin, IL drivers' answer to all their off-roading needs. This Ford SUV is expected to have all the standard and available performance features to conquer even the most gnarly terrain. First, Bronco enthusiasts will find the standard 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost® engine under the hood. This engine will be able to deliver 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Drivers will also have the choice of getting the available 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost® engine that will be able to generate 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The standard transmission with the base trim level is a seven-speed manual transmission. This is great for drivers who want more control in their driving experience. Every other trim comes standard with the smooth, silky 10-speed automatic transmission. The Bronco comes with two 4x4 systems, a part-time system and an advance full-time system.
